Purpose : Supervises the daily activities of the Electronics Assembly Department to meet production, quality, cost reduction, training, and maintenance targets Primary responsibilities : Production of electronic products to ensure sufficient inventory to meet demand and stocking quantities.
Daily Electronics Assembly crew supervision, training, and mentoring Responsible for maintaining accuracy of department inventory system within 1% Use Requisition System to communicate inventory needs to Purchasing Department Serves as supervisor for SMT and through hole electronics and manufacturing processes.

oManage and direct daily workflow with proper utilization and efficiency of resources.oAble to manage the flow of paperwork through the department accurately on time.

Responsible for planning and prioritizing production and managing the daily activities of the workforce.oEnsures priorities are met and jobs are completed on time, on budget, and of the highest quality.

oResponsible for tracking maintenance of all the equipment and machineryoMaintains assembly department capital equipment log.
Oversees PCBA manufacturing operations.oTrains and supervises SMT and Thru-Hole operators.oMaintains automated assembly and soldering procedures and documentation.
Continuously develops new skills and knowledge to support and enhance electronics manufacturing. Participates in the recruitment and hiring of employees and assists in the interview process as needed.
Develops and administers employee training programs.oTrains the workforce in the use of machines, equipment, tools, fixtures, and proceduresoMaintains & updates training records for department.
Performs evaluations of EA Department staffoPrepares Assemblers performance evaluations per the CTI performance evaluation program.
oMeets regularly with reports and provides regular feedback on their performance.oParticipates in the administration and enforcement of company policies and communicates policies to employees.
Monitors and documents direct report HR issues with the supervision and support of the Head of Manufacturing Provides support and backup of manufacturing managers when other managers are out Additional Responsibilities : Completes special tasks as required, and in a timely and positive fashion.

Education and Experience : High school diploma or its equivalent, 4-6 years of electronics assembly / fabrication experience and 2-4 years of supervisory experience Associates degree in Business Administration / Operations Management or other similarly related degree, 3-5 years of electronics assembly / fabrication experience and 1-3 years of supervisory experience Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration / Operations Management or other similarly related degree, 1-3 years of electronics assembly / fabrication experience and 0-1 years of supervisory experience Background or working knowledge of purchasing, production control and engineering helpful
