MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
· Assist in the direction and administration of the daily operation plan to help drive production standards
· Manage and supervise the production staff
· Provide feedback to appropriate authority on linen quality, safety, security, and physical environment problems
· Report any safety, security and physical plant problems to the appropriate authority at the the time the problem is encountered or noted
MINOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Be able to operate various pieces of linen production equipment by classification and customer
Assist with unloading, loading, and weighing of the incoming soiled linen carts
Maintain accurate records of distribution quantities
Ensure that customer owned goods from one customer do not get mingled with another
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to operate laundry machinery
Ability to maintain the production standards set forth by the Production Manager
Ability to work with little to no supervision
Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
Ability to read and write English and perform basic math functions
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds on a regular basis
Ability to stand at production work stations for extended periods of time
