Reviews daily assembly production records to identify trends or potential performance issues. Typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a manager. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Overall Focus:
The Shift Supervisor is a full-time supervisory position. The Shift Supervisor is responsible for the following duties. The Shift Supervisor must be able to follow a schedule and team build. Must be fluent with Office programs such as Excel and Word. The Shift Supervisor must have superb communication skills (oral, verbal, and written communication skills). Responsible for tracking and reporting time and attendance daily. Must be able to mentor, coach, lead, supervise and discipline a shift usually greater than 20 employees in size. The Shift Supervisor must perform periodic employee reviews. The shift supervisor must be able to attend weekly meetings and periodic training, some of which may be held at off-site locations. The Shift Supervisor must be mechanically inclined and able to problem solve and lead others in a fast-paced work environment. The Packaging Supervisor is responsible for maintaining smooth production flows on all lines while safely producing a high-quality product in the most efficient way possible. The Packaging Supervisor must organize, lead and supervise production employees; fostering an environment that allows them to accomplish daily tasks and achieve goals. Communicate and follow-up effectively. Delegate responsibilities as needed and maintain accurate records and employee files.
