Position Title: Floor Supervisor
Position Summary:
Floor Supervisor is an hourly position that is responsible for assisting with the flow of operations at the front desk, dining rooms, and kitchens. They work closely with the managers to ensure that Kobe procedures and standards are executed and that excellent customer service is achieved.
They must be knowledgeable about the Front-of-house and Back-of-house operations so that they can be of assistance whenever help is needed in a specific department. This includes Host, Server, Busser, Bartender, Togo Departments. During operating hours, Floor Supervisors are focused on the customer experience and assist staff on delivering a great Kobe experience to every guest. This includes assisting the Front-of-House Manager with table management, reservations, calls, processing discounts, handling customer complaints or special requests/allergies, greeting tables, and singing celebratory songs. They also may help the General Manager and Assistant Manager with opening or closing the restaurant, training of staff members, filling out daily reports, and assisting the Back-of-House Manager with inventory/delivery.
The Floor Supervisor is expected to manage and execute all required policies and procedures up to Kobe’s standards. They report directly to the General Manager and Assistant Manager.
