    As a Production Shop Floor Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the production line and shop floor to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. You will supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers, troubleshoot any issues that arise, and implement process improvements. The role requires deep knowledge in electro mechanics, experience in manufacturing or field service, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and management.


    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    • Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers on the line.
    • Ensure smooth workflow by assigning tasks, monitoring progress, monitoring materials on the line and adjusting schedules as needed to meet production targets. Willingness to perform certain tasks in a hands on manner when facing insufficient capacity.
    • Maintain quality standards by training production workers and spot checking their quality level. Investigating quality issues in cooperation with quality control and implementing corrective actions.
    • Enforce safety protocols and ensure that all workers adhere to safety guidelines and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
    • Train new employees on production procedures, equipment operation, and safety protocols. Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for existing staff to enhance skills and knowledge. Take an active part in product launches and train production workers on new products.
    • Identify and resolve issues or bottlenecks in the production process promptly. Collaborate with production management, development, logistics, and quality control to troubleshoot complex problems and deliver actionable solutions. 
    • Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, improve quality, reduce waste, and optimize resources. Gather feedback from team members and suggest innovative solutions for enhancing productivity.
    • Communicate effectively with team members, management, and other departments to coordinate activities, convey instructions, and address any concerns or issues.

    Requirements

     JOB REQUIREMENTS


    High school diploma or equivalent;

    Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment or technical field service, at least 7-10 years;

    Strong ability to motivate and coach team members;

    Hands on problem-solving abilities;

    Electronic and mechanical aptitude;

    Knowledge of production processes, and quality control principles;

    Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures;

    Proficiency in SAP preferred;

    Proficiency in KANBAN manufacturing and 5S preferred;

    Flexibility to adapt to changing production demands.
