Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Freight Broker with a proven track record and an existing book of business to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will leverage your relationships and expertise to enhance our service offerings and expand our client base. You will play a critical role in securing new accounts, facilitating information exchange, and ensuring timely communication throughout the transportation process. Your ability to negotiate contracts with carriers to maximize profitability while maintaining exceptional customer service will be essential to your success in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Bring in and manage your current book of business.
• Generate leads and develop a robust sales pipeline.
• Identify and select reputable carriers for freight services.
• Track the status of loads and communicate updates to customers.
• Collaborate with shippers, carriers, and dispatchers to manage collections and drop-offs.
• Maintain accurate records of activities and transactions.
• Stay informed about market trends in the transportation industry.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Freight Broker.
• Proven track record of success with an existing book of business.
• Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales quotas.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Employment Classification: 1099, Commission-based
