Floor Operations Manager oversees the execution of securities orders on the floor of the exchange. Researches and resolves problems that occur during the trading process. Being a Floor Operations Manager monitors business volume and ensures timely processing of orders. May be responsible for the profitability of the floor brokers. Additionally, Floor Operations Manager requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a top management. Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the floor, ensuring smooth and efficient service
- Train and supervise floor staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Monitor customer satisfaction and address any issues or concerns in a timely manner
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, ensuring a pleasant environment for guests
- Handle cash transactions and manage POS system (Revel) accurately
- Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new floor staff members
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a high standard of service
- Collaborate with management to develop strategies for improving customer experience
Requirements:
- Previous experience in hotel, hospitality, or food service management is preferred
- Strong knowledge of wines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team management
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Proficient in using POS systems and other restaurant management software
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
