Dispensary Floor Manager:

Responsibilities & Personnel Duties:
● Assist the Director of Operations in leading the team to deliver a best-in-class dispensary experience through our brand story and values.
● Lead team to deliver daily/weekly/monthly goals that align with company targets.
● Manage day-in/day-out front of house operations, visual merchandising execution, and client satisfaction.
● Work closely with the Director of Operations and higher Management peers to accomplish goals/objectives.
● Implement a culture of customer service that drives repeat business and loyalty amongst our community.
● Provide leadership, training, guidance, and support to team members that foster continuous learning and improvement in the performance of the company brand.
● Drive brand initiatives and sales promotions; identify trends and opportunities to define process and procedure improvement.
● Supervises operation of the store and team members, opening/closing/changing shifts, task delegation, and scheduling team members.
● Supervises the control of the store money including register counts, withdraws from the bank, armored car pickups, safe deposits, change orders, and oversees all aspects of bookkeeping including ledger, invoices, cash reports, and time records.
● Ensures that store/grounds are clean and presentable; manages repair and maintenance; responds to emergencies.
● Completes special assignments and other tasks as assigned, including assisting team members as needed.
● Develops and delivers performance management for direct reports.
● Participates in the company and on-the-job training to improve skills and productivity and attends training requested by the Dispensary Manager, Director of Dispensary Operations, and other company leaders.
● Seeks self-development by monitoring own performance, setting high personal standards, learning about the fields of retail, and management, seeking best practices.
● Communicates regularly with team members through one-on-one discussions, group meetings, soliciting input, answering questions, and ensuring communication is open between management and non-management team members.
Qualifications:
● At least 2 years prior business management experience in Manufacturing, Retail, Agriculture, or similar industry or role.
● Cannabis knowledge is not required but highly preferred.
● Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to positively influence people; must be capable of effectively interacting at all levels in the organization.
● Detail-oriented with an eye for process optimization. Ability to identify weak spots in a process to improve efficiency.
● Ability to analyze a supply chain and find risks.
● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage high-stress situations, and be flexible and adaptable when a situation requires it.
● Must be able to obtain all licensure required by state guidelines to sell, distribute, and manufacture cannabis.
● Excellent communication skills and leadership, both verbally and through written media.
●Must be able to handle constructive criticism and guidance and offer the same to others. Ability to negotiate.
● At least 21 years of age and authorized to work in the US.
● Ability to work with a computer and remain seated or standing for extended periods of time.
●Proficient computer skills including typing speed of 50 WPM, a strong command of Microsoft Office Suite products and other software programs.
● Ability to participate in physical labor (lift up to 50 pounds) on occasion.
● Knowledge of applicable cannabis laws, rules, and regulations.
● Detail-oriented with a knack for creative problem-solving.
● Excellent time management and organizational skills required.
● Great planning and project management skills.
● Experience with conflict management.
Education:
● High school diploma or equivalency. Associates degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field is preferred
Supervision and Authority:
This role reports directly to the Director of Operations. The roles of Wellness Advisor, and Concierge report directly to this role of Floor Manager.
