Petals Floral Design and Gifts is a premiere floral studio based in Wildwood, NJ and serving the greater Cape May area. We pride ourselves on offering distinct floral designs of exceptional quality and detail.

We are currently seeking a part-to-full time floral designer.

Essential Duties:
-Works in the store as a designer of fresh flowers.
-Has full use and knowledge of computer and Point of Sale system.
-Maintains stock of hard and fresh goods.
-Has excellent communication and sales skills with phone and in-person orders.
-Handles processing and storage of fresh product.

General Requirements:
-High school diploma or GED preferred.
-Able to use our social media platforms to promote designs and products.
-Knowledge of all aspects of floral design and seasonal floral varieties.
-Two years or more design experience.
-Experience in wedding and event floral design.
-Able to design according to specifications and budget.
-Able to stand and place flowers in a container for up to 8-10 hours and lift 50 pounds or more.
-Able to work on-location at event venues, churches, client homes, etc.
-Available to work around key holidays: Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
-Available to work Thurs-Sun during key Wedding seasons: May/June and September/October

Due to the unique layout of our design studio and retail store all employees of Petals Floral Design and Gifts are required to be excellent customer service representatives and will always interact with and assist clients whenever necessary.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
