Overview:

We are seeking a talented and creative Floral Designer to join our team. As a Floral Designer, you will have the opportunity to showcase your artistic skills and create beautiful floral arrangements for various occasions. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and development within our company.

Duties:

- Design and create floral arrangements for weddings, events, and everyday occasions

- Select and arrange flowers, greenery, and other decorative elements to create visually appealing designs

- Assist customers in selecting the right floral arrangements for their needs

- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns

- Maintain inventory of floral supplies and order new materials as needed

- Ensure that all floral arrangements are properly cared for and maintained

- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery of orders

- Keep work area clean and organized

Experience:

- Previous experience in floral design is preferred but not required

- Knowledge of different types of flowers, plants, and greenery

- Strong artistic skills with an eye for detail and color coordination

- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively

- Familiarity with retail math and cash register operations

- Proficiency in English; Spanish language skills are a plus

- Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems is preferred

- E-commerce or online sales experience is a plus

- Knowledge of lawn care or gardening is beneficial

- Sales experience is an asset
