Abate Florist & Greenhouses is a locally owned and operated business located in Chesterland, Ohio. We are seeking a talented floral designer to join our team.
The position is full-time. The individual MUST have experience in a retail flower shop as a floral designer, be pleasant and have good people skills. The ability to show up on time and work the entire shift is important. Applicant must be able to work Saturdays and be available to make slight increase to hours at busy holiday seasons. The knowledge to build all designs from corsages, bouquets, sympathy sprays and everyday arrangements are required. Some light greenhouse work is also required. A clean driver's license is required to make deliveries. PAY RATE DEPENDS ON EXPERIENCE.
- Process fresh flowers & plants
- Keep shop clean
-Greet and assist all customers with orders & questions both on phone and in person
-Design beautiful corsages, bouquets or arrangements for any occasion
-Greenhouse duties - process incoming plants, watering, customer service, etc.
-Delivering of arrangements in our vehicles
-Must be energetic, friendly and treat customers and co-workers with respect
-Must be able to work Saturdays and flexible to make slight increase to hours at busy holidays seasons
