Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent with at least 4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Being a Floral Designer is familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Responsibilities:
- Create floral arrangements for various occasions such as weddings, funerals, and special events
- Stock and maintain inventory of fresh flowers, plants, and other floral supplies
- Design and arrange flowers according to customer preferences and specifications
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers in selecting the right floral arrangements
- Organize and maintain the floral shop to ensure a clean and inviting environment
- Sell floral arrangements and related products to customers
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
Experience:
- 5 years experience in Floral Design
- Knowledge of different types of flowers, plants, and floral design techniques
- Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and fulfill customer orders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills to assist customers with their floral needs
- Proficient and effective communication with customers and team members
