Summary:

Seeking a Designer/Drafter to create detailed mechanical drawings and 3D models using Autodesk Inventor, and to assist with parts design and documentation.

Requirements:

• Degree in drafting, design, or related field.
• 1 to 3 years of drafting or design experience.
• Ability to read mechanical blueprints.
• Proficiency in 3D Modeling and Drafting software (Inventor and AutoCAD preferred; Solidworks considered).

Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed 2D mechanical drawings using Autodesk Inventor.
• Produce accurate 3D models with Autodesk Inventor.
• Perform calculations for 2D layout drawings and 3D assembly models.
• Create assembly drawings for parts lists and production use.
• Design parts based on descriptions from engineers and customers.
• Prepare accurate bills of materials.
• Layout, draw, and reproduce illustrations for product manuals and technical publications.
