Sutter's Mills Laser Engraving, a Tempe based manufacturing company, is looking for hard-working, dependable individuals to fill Embroidery Folding positions.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The purpose of this role is to prepare garments for embroidery, then prepare them for shipping upon completion.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Following directions and communicating with the training supervisor throughout the shift
• Reads all paperwork provided in order to understand specifications and what steps to complete
• Identifies embroidered products by size, color, style and embroidered logo according to the order sheet
• Counts and inspects clothing to ensure the correct amount and type were received by comparing to the order sheet
• Hoops and Un-hoops various clothing items for the embroidery machine operator
• Examines all products to ensure embroidery is properly aligned and correct
• Folds and bags the various clothing items per the order instructions
• Reports issues with quality, processes, or equipment to supervisor on shift
• Maintains clean and organized work space in order to assist with personal success and production rate
• ALWAYS wears close-toed shoes while working
• Reports to work on-time daily, Monday through Friday

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach within hands and arm’s length, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
• Ability to use work with hands for entire shift (i.e. hooping, folding and bagging products)
• Ability to see items at close range in order to identify any defects in product
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Basic computer skills
• Attention to detail
• Motivation to meet production goals and work independently
