Job Title:                     Production Team Member- Linen Folder     

Job Summary:             Process linens by hand folding according to specifications.

Role Priorities:

• Hand folding, wrapping, and/or tying linens to department specifications.
• Ensure product is neatly organized and put away properly.
• Ensure NOG (not our goods) products are processed and returned to customer by communicating with Department Supervisor, CSSR, and/or Linen Loader.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
• Ensure quality of product and meet daily production quantity goals.
• Work in other areas of department as necessary.

Role Requirements and Essential Job Functions:

• Training period of 2-4 weeks to become familiar with specifications for folding, pieces processed, company standards, and to attain department routine for normal efficiency.
• Assist Supervisor in improving a system of production control, standard operating procedures, safety, and quality control.
• Must be able to stand and walk all day with gross hand and arm motions.
• Repetitive grasping of hands.
• Lifting and carrying of product up to 22lbs occasionally. 
• Also twisting, bending, turning, squatting, kneeling, walking, and occasional heights.
• Repetitive work.
• Ability to read and write English.

Work Environment:

• Inside typical plant environment- can be hot and humid; must be aware of safety protocols and avoiding injury to hands from moving parts of machinery and tools.

Education:

•  High school diploma or equivalent.

 General work hours are Monday through Friday.
