Food & Beverage Cashier processes customers' bills. Handles cash and credit transactions. Being a Food & Beverage Cashier maintains receipts, records, and withdrawals. Responsibilities: (willing to train)
- Assist in food preparation and cooking under the supervision of the chef or kitchen manager
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to ensure a clean and sanitary work environment
-Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
- Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing customer concerns
- Buss tables and maintain cleanliness in the dining area
- Assist with stocking inventory and restocking supplies as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely service
Experience:
- Previous experience in a food service or restaurant setting is preferred but not required
- Ability to handle cash transactions and operate a cash register accurately
- Basic culinary knowledge and understanding of food preparation techniques is beneficial
- Knowledge of proper sanitation practices to maintain a clean and safe work environment
