A public golf course in Henderson, NV is looking to hire a Director of Food and Beverage. The Director of Food and Beverage is responsible for all aspects of the restaurant including driving sales and revenue, marketing, profitability, banquet sales and coordination, along with providing exceptional service through hiring, training and developing team members.
Specific Responsibilities - include but are not limited to:
- Oversees all operations of the food and beverage department, with duties to include service training, staff development, costs controls, beverage program, gaming, and adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Ensure that operational standards are met in regard to SNHD regulations, storage, and loss prevention
- Perform monthly inventory
- Assume and maintain responsibility for the cleanliness and proper set-up of the dining room, including banquets
- Implement policies and procedures for the food and beverage department
- Troubleshoot and make recommendations regarding performance issues relating to staff, menus, equipment, and point of sale systems
- Implement and monitor food and beverage payroll policies, procedures, and controls, with an emphasis on minimizing employee costs
- Maintain purchase order system, par-stock levels on food and beverage inventories, and implement and monitor ordering and receiving program to ensure proper quantity and price on all purchases
- Maintain responsibility for food and beverage sales, expenses, and profit goals as outlined in the food and beverage operating plan/budget
- Maintain and establish vendor relationships
- Special projects or other duties as assigned
