Food & Beverage Director directs and oversees all aspects of the organization's food and beverage planning and service, with duties to include menu planning and costs, preparation and presentation of food and drinks, and adherence to quality and safety standards. Plans, coordinates, and oversees special events. Being a Food & Beverage Director may identify marketing opportunities to promote food and beverage products. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Food & Beverage Director typically reports to top management. The Food & Beverage Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget.     Qualifications
    • Minimum of 2 years of successful experience with FOH sales and cost responsibility in comparable operation
    • Demonstrate competence in teambuilding, quality operations, problem solving, and administration.
    • Ability to use Agilysis point-of-sale and reservation software and equipment along with Microsoft Office software.
    • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining daily standards.
    License Requirements
    • DBR-RI
    • Alcohol awareness server training
    Essential Job Functions
    • Ensures daily compliance with all government and regulatory requirements as well as all Bally's policies and procedures.
    • Responsible for all aspects of daily FOH operations
    • Presents a positive image of the restaurant at all times. Interacts with vendors and the public so as to increase the appreciation of the restaurant and the brand in the marketplace.
    Physical/Mental Requirements
    • Work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
    • Ability to lift and carry 50lbs.
    • Able to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment.
    • Able to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, bright lights.
    Working Conditions
    • Mostly indoors and generally climate-controlled environment
    • May be exposed to noise, smoke, and odors.
    • Working with others and independently
