Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food and Beverage Director to join our team. As the Food and Beverage Director, you will be responsible for leading Banquet Operations working cooperatively with the Executive Chef and directly lead, train and develop Front of the House staff ensuring the highest quality of service.
This is a leadership role that requires strong hospitality and back of house experience, excellent management skills and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and Supervise the daily operations of the Banquet Department
- Collaborate with Culinary Team on menu development recognizing current trends, competition, and best practices
- Maintain cost and inventory levels of Liquor, Linen and Supplies- ordering as needed
- Collaborate with all departments to coordinate banquet events
- Hire, train and motivate team, providing guidance and support
- Ensure Banquet staff have all been trained in responsible alcohol service.
- Meet or exceed all revenue, COGS and labor targets
- Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns or complaints promptly
- Implement cost control measures to maximize profitability
- Work in harmony with the sales team to ensure we are most competitive in our market
- Lead by example, demonstrating self-confidence, energy, and enthusiasm
- Provide associates with the necessary tools, training and equipment they need to perform their job
- Develop and execute all SOPs for Banquet Department
- Monitor, direct, and coordinate effective sanitation, cleanliness, and organization effort in Banquet operating areas to ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
