Food & Beverage Operations Supervisor

Job Description

Purpose of Position:

Assists in the smooth operation of Food & Beverage Departments by providing direct supervision and support to the Food & Beverage team. Your teams will consist of stand supervisor’s, leads, cashiers, servers and preps. Use “Menu Build Format Binder” located in each location to assist in training employees for consistency.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Food and beverage operations supervisor will oversee the daily operation of food and beverage locations throughout the waterpark.
• Conduct and/or perform manual inventory counts with stand supervisors and leads to ensure that there is enough product on hand to serve customers between 2-3 times weekly. Most importantly leading up to the weekends which are our busiest days.
• Assist in monitoring inventory and inventory control.
• Manage kitchen staff and oversee food preparation to company standards.
• Help F & B administration to maintain accurate records of employees, employee wage cost% control, equipment conditions and compliance reporting.
• Maintain our established quality assurance procedures to ensure health department and customer service standards are being met.
• Move throughout the food and beverage locations within the waterpark to monitor and provide support for fellow stand supervisors, leads and employees as needed.
• Maintain & support facility policies and procedures.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of staff.
• Able to work on own initiative within a team-oriented environment.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills and the ability to work well with other departments.
• Ability to exhibit a positive team culture and high levels of productivity throughout employee engagement.
• Ensuring that all equipment used are in safe working conditions, checked regularly for malfunctions/defects and if any faults should arise to report to management immediately.
• Be passionate about food, beverage and customer service. Seeks to ensure that the highest standards are always met.
• Complete minor food preparation tasks as necessary to assist with daily food service operation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by upper management team.

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required, unless otherwise waived by Human Resources Management.
• Two (2) years of general operations experience is required.
• Food and Beverage experience preferred.
• Requires proficiency with the latest MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook).
• Current food handler or manager certificate.
