We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food and Beverage Manager to join our team. As the Food and Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our food and beverage operations. This includes managing the restaurant, kitchen, and bar areas, as well as ensuring exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.
Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate all food and beverage activities, including restaurant, kitchen, and bar operations
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and minimize costs
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Train and supervise staff members, including conducting performance evaluations
- Create schedules for employees to ensure adequate coverage
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Collaborate with the culinary team to design menus that meet customer preferences and dietary restrictions
- Oversee the preparation of food and beverages to ensure quality standards are met
- Resolve customer complaints in a timely and satisfactory manner
- Conduct regular inspections of the restaurant, kitchen, and bar areas to maintain cleanliness and organization
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Food and Beverage Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, including front-of-house, back-of-house, and bar management
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system or similar point-of-sale software
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive dining experience
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with staff, customers, and vendors
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food handling regulations and safety protocols
- Previous experience in interviewing, hiring, training, and managing staff members
