FOOD & BEVERAGE MANAGER

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or GED
• Four years' experience in the food & beverage, culinary or related professional area
• Degree in Food Service Management, Hotel & Restaurant Management, Business Administration or related major id desired, but not required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Schedule hourly staff, track attendance, and set and monitor performance standards.
• Supervise daily F&B restaurant and banquet shift operation and monitor compliance with all F&B policies, standards & procedures.
• Assist in ordering F&B supplies and uniforms.
• Assist with monthly inventory.
• Encourage and build mutual respect and cooperation among team members.
• Able to perform F&B employees' duties in their absence and operate department equipment.
• Head up pre-shift meetings and training, sharing service culture, food, and wine/spirits knowledge
• Individually coach team members to provide exemplary customer service.
• Monitor and inspire associate productivity while prioritizing two-way communication and an open-door policy.
• Coordinate cleaning and self-inspection program.
• Takes proactive approach to guest concerns & reviews all guest feedback and follows up in a timely manner with appropriate action.
• Comprehend budget, operating statements and payroll reports.
