Food & Beverage Manager manages the daily activities of the organization's food and beverage function. Oversees food and beverage inventory and budget control. Being a Food & Beverage Manager assists the Food and Beverage Director in menu planning, preparation and presentation of food and drinks, and monitoring adherence to quality and safety standards. Assists in the planning and coordination of special events. Additionally, Food & Beverage Manager may require an associate degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Food & Beverage Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Food & Beverage Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Duties:
    - Manage and supervise all food and beverage operations, including restaurant, bar, banquets, and room service
    - Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and minimize costs
    - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
    - Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
    - Train and supervise staff members, providing guidance and support
    - Monitor customer feedback and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely manner
    - Collaborate with the kitchen staff to create menus that meet customer preferences and dietary restrictions
    - Oversee the preparation of food and beverages to ensure quality standards are met
    - Utilize point-of-sale (POS) systems to process orders and payments

    Qualifications:
    - Previous experience in a similar role within the hotel or hospitality industry is required
    - Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and health regulations
    - Proven experience in banquet operations, including planning and execution
    - Excellent leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
    - Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive dining experience
    - Knowledge of kitchen management techniques, including inventory control and cost management
    - Bartending experience is preferred but not required
