Under the general supervision of the Food Service Management, this position is responsible for the preparation, cooking and serving of all meals on an assigned shift. This position also functions as the lead worker to all Corrections Food Service Leader 2’s (CFSL-2) on a shift, including training inmate workers and staff. This position is responsible for the duties required in the basement storage, the 2nd floor of the Food Service Building to include the direction of Bakery and Storeroom areas, and activities on the main floor.
The Corrections Food Service Leader 3 shall comply with the Department’s administrative rules and the agency’s policies and procedures including those related to the Department's overall Reentry philosophy of using evidence-based strategies, practices and programs which target an inmate’s individual criminogenic needs and risk level.
