Food Server - Institution is responsible for taking and delivering food and beverage orders to diners in an institutional setting. Ensures correct and prompt delivery of food. Being a Food Server - Institution may also be responsible for dish cleaning and sorting, garbage collecting as well as food preparation and light cooking. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Food Server - Institution typically reports to a supervisor. The Food Server - Institution possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes
- Prepare food items for cooking or serving
- Set up and stock food stations with necessary supplies
- Demonstrate a passion for serving our teas and vegan food menu
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Contribute to a warm and welcoming environment with exceptional customer service
Experience:
- Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment while maintaining quality standards
