An Ellis Park Food Server ensures that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience at Ellis Park by greeting our guests when they arrive, taking and serving food and beverage orders in a timely and courteous manner, and cleaning guests’ tables when they leave so that they are ready for the next guest.

Some details of what you will do:

• Ring up and deliver food and beverage orders to patrons in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Maintain workstation by cleaning, sanitizing, and refilling ice wells, paper products, cups, and condiments.
• Promote brands/products, including daily specials, to increase sales.
• Maintain a cash drawer and complete transactions using a point-of-sale system.
• Complete setup/closing tasks (wipe down station, roll silverware, refill condiments, set tables, reset station for next shift, etc.)

What you need:

• Relevant work experience, including strong knowledge, ability, and skill in mixing a variety of alcoholic beverages.
• Basic math and cash handling skills.
• Available to work when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license.
