RESPONSIBILITIES: Drive agency vehicle to pick up meals from school district and deliver to assigned site /
center. Aid in the serving of meals at the assigned site according to CACFP regulations as needed. This job
operates in a kitchen environment so employee is frequently exposed to heat, steam, fire and noise. Must be able to stand for long periods of time and is occasionally required to sit, stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items weighing 50 pounds or less. The position requires manual dexterity, auditory and visual skills, and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures. Must have the ability to stand and sit several hours at a time, walk short distances, squat to sit on a small chair and later return to a standing position, bend or stoop to place objects from standing position to a table service, and kneel on the floor/ground in an upright position to interact with children close to their eye level, quickly transferring up and down from this position to standing. Must have the ability to lift, push/pull objects or pick up children weighting up to 50 pounds. Occasional environmental exposures to cold, heat, and water. Regular and predictable attendance is required.
LOCATION: Middleburg, PA
HOURS & SALARY: Part time position, Monday through Friday, 11 AM – 1 or 1:30 PM. $12.50/hour
