Under the general supervision of the Food Service Manager and leadership of the Corrections Food Service Leader 3, this position is responsible for the direction of facility workers in the Bakery, Kitchen, and Serving Areas of the Food Service Department. This position is also responsible for the direction of all food preparation and serving activities on an assigned shift in the absence of, or as an assistant to the CFSL3, along with maintaining sanitation, safety, security and training of facility workers.
The Corrections Food Service Leader 2 shall comply with the Department’s administrative rules and the agency’s policies and procedures including those related to the Department's overall Reentry philosophy of using evidence-based strategies, practices and programs which target an inmate’s individual criminogenic needs and risk level.
