Food Services Director - Healthcare directs and oversees food service for patients, employees, and visitors in a healthcare environment. Develops, manages, and maintains food service policies and procedures in accordance with administrative directives and professional standards. Being a Food Services Director - Healthcare develops menus and oversees the handling, preparation, and storage of food. Oversees equipment maintenance, record keeping and all sanitation activities. AS THE DIRECTOR, SURGICAL SERVICES you will, report to the Chief Nursing Officer. This position is responsible for managing daily operations, budget, staffing/personnel, strategic initiatives, and quality outcomes. This position acts as a liaison working with other hospital personnel, system leaders, and medical professionals.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing required. Masters in Nursing, Business, or Health Administration required within three years of hire
- Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Two years OR Nursing experience
- Speciality Certification preferred
- Management experience in an inpatient/surgical setting
- Healthcare Provider (CPR) and ACLS Certification
- Certification as ARON or CASC at time of hire or within one year
