    MAJOR PURPOSE     :

    Reporting to the DNS, the ADNS will direct the routine functioning of the nursing staff by assuring the overall supervision of all nursing personnel concerned with resident care and ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations, policies, and procedures.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Registered Nurse licensed in NY

    • Preferred: 3 years' experience in a skilled nursing facility and 2 years nurse management preferred

    • Required: Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility in a Managerial or Supervisory capacity with an understanding of LTC Rules & Regs

    • Required: Infection Control Certification

    • Wound Care Certification is a Plus

    • CPR certified.

    • Has background in and understanding of Medicare guidelines
