Position Summary:
The Director of Nursing Services is responsible for the oversight, planning, and coordination of nursing services and administrative activities, including fiscal, material, and human resource management. Participates in the development and implementation of facility policies and procedures.
Responsible for ensuring facility staff follow infection prevention and control procedures. Maintains open communication with all disciplines and team members to promote best practice and clinical outcomes.
Education:
- 2 year/Associate/ 4 year/bachelor’s degree
- License/Certification
Experience:
3-5 years:
- Demonstrated leadership ability; ability to work under stressful situations; excellent oral and written communication Demonstrated comprehensive management responsibilities.
- Experience with strategic program development.
- Nursing degree accredited School of Nursing required.
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in nursing, preferred or must be actively working on completion
