Complete assessments, medication administration, and provide therapies, treatments, and interventions as scheduled in accordance with the plan of care and physician's orders.
Partner with all members of the interdisciplinary team including the family, ensuring a constant flow of communication regarding the client's cares, changes in condition, developmental goals, etc.
Provide support and education to clients and families to help them be successful.Build rapport and trust with clients, families or other caregivers, the office team, and peers to facilitate effective communication and build relationships.
Complete timely charting through our electronic medical record system.Keep up to date with the client's plan of care, changes in conditions, physician's orders, family, or caregiver requests, etc.
Advocate for the client and family to promote and support growth and development.Examples of some of our nursing cares include gastrostomy tubes, jejunostomy tubes, nasogastric tubes, PICCs, PORTs, tracheostomies, seizure disorders, etc.
