    Responsibilities:
    • Setting tables appropriately
    • Serving food to residents
    • Informing residents of menu choices
    • Delivering meals in timely manner
    • Clearing and washing tables
    • Performing various tasks as assigned by kitchen supervisor
    • Following ServSafe Guidelines to prevent time/temperature contamination.
    • Must be able to work needed shifts; Available on short notice to help cover shifts or assist kitchen staff.

    Requirements:
    • No experience necessary; prefer at least 6 months experience working in institutional food preparation
    • High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required 
    • Ability to communicate verbal and written 
    • Ability to deal with emergencies calmly and efficiently
    • Understanding standards related to food, service and cleanliness
    • Ability to work irregular hours and demonstrate flexibility.
