Being a Food Services Manager provides related training and supervises service staff. Additionally, Food Services Manager may require an associate degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. SUMMARY:
The Outreach Services Supervisor works in a staff/volunteer team driven environment to promote and support the mission of the Thurston County Food Bank.
The Outreach Services Supervisor is primarily responsible for and oversight of the planning and implementation of outreach strategies to meet community needs. The Outreach Services Supervisor is the primary staff person overseeing all organizational efforts to expand hunger relief partnerships, the coordination of local community service partners, and marketing strategies in local communities. Specifically, The Outreach Services Supervisor has the integral role of leading the Outreach Team tasked with liaising with community advocates, assessing community needs, and increasing access for community members to needed resources.
