Food Services Manager oversees the daily operations of the organization's food service function. Monitors inventory levels and purchases food, kitchen equipment, and other supplies as needed. Being a Food Services Manager provides related training and supervises service staff. Establishes quality standards for foods and maintains cleanliness of the facilities in accordance with state or local regulations. Additionally, Food Services Manager may require an associate degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Food Services Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Job Purpose
Receives food donations and ensures proper food storage for the Good Neighbor Café. Assists in maintaining a clean and sanitary warehouse and kitchen environment for serving meals to TRM guests.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Serves as a primary point of contact for donors and volunteers, receiving and cataloging donations creating a mutually beneficial experience.
• Supervises volunteers during food storage assignments (e.g., New Life Program participants).
• Ensures the cleanliness and sanitation of warehouse and kitchen operations (e.g., cleans and sanitizes food service areas, storage areas, floors, windows, walls, etc.).
• Performs preventative maintenance on kitchen equipment, including recharging pallet jack and floor scrubber, and reporting on low propane tanks.
• Assists with a variety of other cleaning tasks as needed (cleans/sanitizes dishes, freezers, and refrigerators, disposes of food waste, garbage, cardboard, etc.).
• Performs other duties as assigned to support others and ensure an efficient and effective work environment.
Working Conditions
Works well under pressure, able to respond calmly and effectively when under stress, and interacts with people from diverse backgrounds. Some travel between locations.
