Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage healthcare operations, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain compliance with regulatory standards
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of patient care, identifying areas for improvement
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
- Coordinate and supervise healthcare staff, providing guidance and support
- Utilize electronic health record systems, such as Rtasks, to maintain accurate patient records
- Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and promote a safe healthcare environment
- You will be empowered to supervise Direct Support Professionals/ Home Health Aides while personally ensuring the completion of daily, weekly, and monthly responsibilities of the role.
- This includes maintaining appropriate documentation, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts, monitoring staff documentation, ensuring healthy meals and snacks are purchased and on hand, and guiding the staff in ensuring daily needs are met, as well as maintaining medical supplies and equipment in consultation with Program Director, and overseeing dietary planning.
- Creating fun activities in the program for the residents, along with being the central point of contact for families, staff, and residents.
- You will also serve as a change agent and lead your teams through the people side of change as it relates to changes in regulations, policy, process, and technology.
- Confidence and competence in meeting with family members is an additional way that you will use your diverse and varied superpowers to provide complete oversight and hands-on tactical execution of the Program / Group Supervisor role.
- Assist in scheduling and accompanying Individuals to medical appointments; document and follow up as required.
- Report all incidents through our incident reporting systems
- Review census, attendance information, or other required documentation to ensure accurate billing.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Proven experience in healthcare management or leadership role
- Knowledge of medical procedures and terminology
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare setting
- High School diploma or GED required;
- Two years related work experience; supervisory experience preferred
- Must be 18 years of age
- Valid driver’s license in good standing
- Ability to be First Aid, CPR, and Medication Administration certified
- Successful clearance of local and/or state background checks
- A strong work ethic with a commitment to serving others
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to establish rapport with team members and those we serve
- Strong organizational abilities to ensure staffing and schedules are maintained
