Food Services Supervisor supervises the daily operations of the organization's food service function. Maintains food storage level and report when it's low. Additionally, Food Services Supervisor maintains cleanliness of working area and the facilities. May require an associate degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Food Services Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision. SUMMER SCHOOL FOOD SERVICES WORKER- Preparing, cooking and serving meats, breads, vegetables and other food in accordance with the menu.
- Prepares and serves fruits, desserts, salads, soups and other foods;
- May be assigned to one specific food preparation area or rotated through the full range of food services;
- Washes pots, pans, kettles and other cooking utensils;
- Operates dishwasher, mixer, chopper, slicer, steamers, ovens and other food service and mechanical equipment;
- Cleans work surfaces, eating and food preparation area;
- Sweeps and mops and performs other custodial duties as assigned;
- Assists in estimating and ordering food supplies;
- Receives and stocks food supplies, maintains sanitary conditions;
- May serve as cashier;
- Performs related tasks as required.
Hourly Rate Range : $13.48 per hour (or current rate of pay)
