The Food Services Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision. We are currently looking for a Full Time Food Services Supervisor for our Food Services team for our Residential Facilities. The Food Services Supervisor is in charge of food, purchasing, preparation and serving to patients, residents, staff and business we cater to.
Duties include, but limited to:- Responsible for maintaining a financially sound, cost effective purchase program by developing and administering accurate accounting procedures and records for proper control and management of money, food, labor, supplies and other costs.
- Responsible for menu planning that conforms to Federal and State regulations and providing nutritional and appetizing food.
- Maintain reports for Health Department inspections.
Experience in Food Services Management, with one year experience in staff supervision. Must have HS Diploma or equivalent. Must have sufficient dexterity to handle food and equipment efficiently and safely; Able to lift up to 30 lbs; Able to work on feet for long periods of time as a great deal of time is spent on foot either continuously walking or standing. ServSafe is preferred, but can be provided after probation period.
