Food Services Supervisor supervises the daily operations of the organization's food service function. Maintains food storage level and report when it's low. Being a Food Services Supervisor reviews menus and supervises the handling and preparation. Ensures quality standards for foods are followed. Additionally, Food Services Supervisor maintains cleanliness of working area and the facilities. May require an associate degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Food Services Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision. Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing day to day operation of F&B outlets
- Assists with inventory and labor management
- Ensures all company and local sanitation standards are met
- Assists with basic accounting functions
- Assume additional responsibilities as assigned by the manager
Qualifications:
- 6 months as a Food and Beverage Supervisor/manager or 2 years restaurant experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
- ServSafe manager certification
- Responsible alcohol service certification
