Position Description:

• Uses safe and sanitary techniques while handling, serving, and storing food and drinks at all times.
• Prepares for meal service in multiple dining rooms by setting tables and beverage stations neatly and accurately. Fills condiment stations as needed.
• Assembles food plates and trays, ensuring proper portion control. Dishes food items neatly.
• Prepares and serves resident’s special food / drink requests.
• Prepares between meal nourishments and snacks for residents.
• Prepares and delivers refreshments for special functions such as medical staff meetings, family meetings, etc.
• Re-stocks multiple unit pantries after food deliveries, rotating stock as needed.
• Completes cleaning duties in multiple pantries, dish rooms, and dining rooms ensuring all areas are left in sanitary condition. Cleans and sanitizes kitchen equipment. Follows correct dish washing procedures.
• Interacts with co-workers, residents, and family members with courtesy and patience.
• Meets attendance requirements and maintains the highest level of dependability. Will work assigned schedule and be responsible for clocking in/out accurately.

Salary range: $13.00/hour and up, depending on experience.
