Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced RN/LPN Charge Nurse to join our team. The Charge Nurse will play a pivotal role in providing leadership and supervision to the nursing staff, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Supervise and lead a team of nursing staff, including LPNs and CNAs.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident care plans.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and individualized care for each resident.
• Monitor and maintain accurate medical records for residents.
• Respond to emergencies and provide prompt and appropriate interventions.
• Participate in staff development and training programs.

Qualifications:

• Current RN or LPN license in the state of FL.
• Previous experience in a nursing leadership role preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of and commitment to maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
