Position Summary: Under the supervision and cooperation of the Director, the supervisor oversees the daily processes of the nursing unit to ensure that safe, evidence based care is provided. The supervisor contributes to the overall corporate objectives by providing leadership to the unit, assisting with financial management and maintaining policies. The supervisor serves as the Critical Care Educator and will assess, implement and evaluate the associate’s education needs to promote quality patient outcomes. The Critical Care Educator implements processes to support evidence based practice in the delivery of quality health care enhancing patient satisfaction and quality goals.
