Food and Beverage Cashier Shift Supervisor -Casino jobs in Jackson, MS

Overview

Food and beverage supervisor is responsible for the daily operation of the business that prepares and serves food and drinks to customers on the casino floor, hotel and banquet hall.  This position will oversee all issues pertaining to patron's dining experience, such as quality control, staff management, inventory, health and safety regulations and customer service.  

Responsibilities

Duties include interviewing, hiring, training, scheduling and managing employees, as well as overseeing inventory, including food and beverages, supplies and other equipment.  Supervisor is also responsible for resolving customer complaints regarding food quality and service and making sure the business complies with health and food safety regulations.  In addition to his or her normal duties, the supervisor perform administrative tasks such as managing payroll and assists with budget controls for the various outlets.  This position will be required to works full time, often on nights and weekends.  

Qualifications

Significant work history in food and beverage management required (5 years or more).  Experience working in a positions of high responsibility in a major restaurant or other food and beverage sector with management responsibility for a staff of 15 or more.  Must have a pleasant and outgoing demeanor at all times.
