Job Description

The Food and Beverage Supervisor is responsible for managing the hotel's food and beverage operations, Alexander's Cafe & Wine Bar located in the lobby of the Lodge at Healdsburg. This includes supervising employees, managing inventory, ordering and receiving food and beverages, and managing the cafe’s appearance.

Responsibilities

• Complete opening and closing duties for the Food & Beverage operation including but not limited to cleaning, stocking, supporting F&B staff
• Order supplies, equipment, & products in order to maintain an adequate amount of menu items, food safety equipment, plateware and glassware to conduct the F&B operation
• Follow all required Ecosure protocols to ensure safety & sanitary compliance
• Take regular inventories of food & beverage items and order as needed or notify appropriate leader to order items on your behalf
• Review, approve, and communicate payment invoices of vendors to Accounting team and General Manager in a timely manner to ensure timely payments are made
• Provide Guest Service agents with shift assignments for F&B service, and ensure professional and friendly service delivery
• Organize and facilitate On-Demand ordering & delivery
• Create SOP's related to F&B service expectations, Hilton service standards, and sanitary compliance
• Ensure staff has completed required F&B training including but not limited to RBS and Food Safety
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
• Train staff on service standards, product familiarity, preparation and cleanliness
• Inspect storage areas for organization, correct application of food use records, and cleanliness
• Ensure the quality of food and beverage meets all sanitary and safety standards
• Create and maintain service schedule for kitchen and beverage equipment
• Organize, stock, and maintain all cold & dry storage areas
• Prepare Wine & Beer tasting schedules, coordinate with vendors, and set up tasting tables, glassware, and signage
• Provide Accounting, Management, and Ownership with required Agilysis reports, and created reconciled tips report for timely payroll execution
• Maintain relationships with vendors and find alternatives when necessary
• Work scheduled shifts and fill in F&B role when necessary for F&B service during hours of operation for Alexander's Cafe & Wine Bar

Qualifications
·High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
·At least 2 years of previous Food & Beverage experience or similar role
·Knowledge of the coffee, bar, and food service
