Food and Beverage Shift Manager - Casino jobs in Galveston, TX

Effectively support the F&B team by assisting with all aspects of the tender program, purchasing process and ensure all products are budgeted, delivered, tracked, and distributed effectively.

· Assist Manager with purchasing, tendering negotiations, warehousing, and deliveries for the Food & Beverage Division
· Assist with seasonal hiring, training, and development
· Ensure scheduling of deliveries and preparations of orders are completed effectively
· Consistently monitors par levels and inventory levels to ensure orders meet business needs.
· Assist Manager with suppliers to ensure service levels, quality controls, pricing meet expectations
· Assist with maintaining supplies and equipment as needed
· Assist with the administration for all pertinent systems ( POS, audit program(s), training manuals and documentation)
· Work with other Departments as required to ensure Warehouse is operating effectively
· Keeps abreast of industry trends, innovations and practices driving actionable results
· Assistwith recommendations regarding unit storage set up as needed
· Ensure warehouse is operating safety and all training records and protocols are maintained and documented
· Adhere to and enforce all Division and Company policies and procedures, including safety, attendance policies, and demonstrates commitment to customer service in all aspects of employment
· All other duties/projects as assigned

• 4-6 years relevant experience
• Strong understanding of health code requirements and OSHA guidelines
• 3-5 years of leadership experience with a large quantity of direct reports at one time
• Culinary background preferred 
• Required to have a Foodhandler Certificate & TABC
• Forklife Operator Certified preferred
