Forecast Analyst analyzes inventory levels, production speed, and product demand to determine the amount of finished product that will be produced. Determines the best metrics to use to provide the most accurate representation of the forecast. Being a Forecast Analyst works with other departments within the organization to determine optimal inventory levels. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Forecast Analyst typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Forecast Analyst occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. General Function:
This individual will support a large IT Services team in the creation, assembly and analysis of data in order to create business information. Specifically, this person will be charged with identifying trends and patterns in a variety of data sources. Further, this person will need to be able to communicate findings through verbal, written and graphic media (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
Further, this person will be responsible for completing certain recurring processes and procedures in support of the operational needs of the organization (recurring reports, approvals, meeting planning)

Responsible for understanding and documenting business requirements for specific business problems

Works with internal teams to assist in business process redesign as needed for realization of business benefits.
Successful completion of certain recurring operational and administrative tasks.
