    Description

    The Sales & Operations Planning Manager will lead Honeyville’s Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process across the organization. This role will play a crucial role in aligning sales, operations, supply chain and accounting functions to ensure customer satisfaction and optimal business performance. The role will facilitate each S&OP Review meeting to ensure the Honeyville team is focused on meeting the business plan. The S&OP Manager will ensure that there is cross-functional input & accountability, continuously improving the S&OP process and assuring the S&OP process is providing visibility to senior leadership of business opportunities & areas that require further evaluation.

     

    Core Responsibilities: 

    • Lead & manage the S&OP process, ensuring alignment with the Honeyville business plan, goals & metrics.
    • Facilitate the S&OP Review meetings to review performance, plan for future business, address issues & ensure alignment among key stakeholders.
    • Facilitate & lead the monthly Management Business Review to drive senior leadership decisions & communicate outcomes from the other S&OP Review meetings that are impacting Honeyville’s business plan.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Operations, Supply Chain & Accounting to gather relevant data & insights for the S&OP process.
    • Communicate the S&OP plans, forecast & key performance indicators to various teams & senior management.
    • Collaborate with operations & supply chain teams to ensure there is capacity & supply to meet future demand requirements.
    • Interface with other resource(s) to generate item forecasts, understand drivers of forecast variances, analyze inventory issues and generate various S&OP reporting.
    • Create and drive continuous improvement of the S&OP process.
    • Measure, control, and improve S&OP planning accuracy through defined metrics.
    • Develop & drive the strategy of the S&OP process to support the business priorities & make adjustments as required.
    • Other ad hoc requests as requested by Leadership.

    Qualifications


    Qualifications and Education Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain or other related discipline.
    • 5 years’ experience with S&OP, SIOP or IBP in a manufacturing environment, experience with CPG products and/or food would be a plus.
    • 2 years direct leadership experience managing & leading S&OP, SIOP or IBP process in a manufacturing environment.
    • Strong background in demand, supply & inventory planning across multiple manufacturing sites, with experience in Contract Manufacturing, Make to Order & Make to Stock environments.
    • Broad range of influence & negotiation skills and ability to work with virtual & cross functional teams.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with all levels of the Honeyville organization.
    • Excellent problem solving & analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to perform data analysis as required.
    • Demonstrated ability to make recommendations and resolve end to end planning bottlenecks & constraints.

     

    Physical Demands & Work Environment:

    Frequently required to stand; walk; use of hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; Specific vision abilities required by this job includes close vision, distance vision, color and depth vision. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to occasionally loud. Exposure to allergens such as Soy, Wheat, Tree Nuts, Milk/Dairy, eggs etc.
