UNDER MINIMUM SUPERVISION, INDEPENDENTLY PLANS, COORDINATES AND SUPERVISES A VARIETY OF DUTIES, PRIMARILY PHYSICAL IN NATURE IN THE UNLOADING, SEGREGATING, STAGING, TRANSPORTATION AND REPLENISHING OF MERCHANDISE.
SUPERVISES ASSOCIATES WHOSE PRIMARY / MAJORITY LEVEL OF WORK IS M-2. 1.PLANS, COORDINATES AND SUPERVISES ALL WORK INVOLVING STOCKING, INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING : A.
B. SEGREGATING MERCHANDISE BY DESIGNATED DEPARTMENT OR SALES CENTER AND STAGING IT FOR TRANSPORT TO THE SALES FLOOR; STRIPPING WRAPPING FROM FDC MERCHANDISE AND INSERTING HANGERS.
C. MOVING MERCHANDISE TO THE FLOOR USING HAND, ROLLER RACK, PALLET JACK, DOLLY OR HAND TRUCK. D. DISPLAYING AND REPLENISHING MERCHANDISE IN A NEAT AND PRESENTABLE FASHION;
PRICE MARKING MERCHANDISE, AS NEEDED. E. CLEANING FIXTURES AND REMOVING BOXES, TRASH AND EXCESS MERCHANDISE FROM THE SALES FLOOR.
F. AS DIRECTED, PULLS BACK-UP MERCHANDISE FROM VARIOUS LOCATIONS AND STAGES IT FOR THE FOLLOWING DAYS STOCKING. 2. SUPERVISES AND CONDUCTS INTERIM AND OFFICIAL INVENTORIES.
3. INSURES THE SECURITY OF CASH, FIXED ASSETS, AND MERCHANDISE INVENTORY. INSURES COMPLIANCE WITH FIRE, SAFETY, SANITATION AND SECURITY REGULATIONS.
RECOMMENDS PEOPLE ACTIONS; AND PERFORMS OTHER SUPERVISORY FUNCTIONS. 5. KEEPS ABREAST OF, ACTIVELY SUPPORTS, AND AS REQUIRED, IMPLEMENTS THE PROVISIONS OF PERTINENT PUBLIC LAWS, EXECUTIVE ORDERS, AND DIRECTIVES RELATING TO THE FEDERAL EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY (EEO) PROGRAM WITHIN THE ARMY AND AIR AIR FORCE EXCHANGE SERVICE.
