    Description

    Students Coordinator

    Campus: Lake Travis

    Reports to: Campus Pastor

    Summary of Role

    Oversee and facilitate all aspects of the Students ministry at an assigned campus

    Position Status & Schedule

    • Non-Exempt, Hourly
    • Full-time (40 hours)
    • Sunday through Thursday; will include evenings and weekends
    • Christmas, Easter, and Dream Team Appreciation service dates and times are blackout days for time off. WAVE Student Conference, and the week leading up to WAVE, are essential workdays for this role. Other events may be required outside of your regular schedule, you will be informed in advance of these requirements.

    Essential Functions & Responsibilities

    Leadership

    • Implement the vision, values, culture, and systems of the Students ministry are reproduced effectively at the designated campus
    • Collaborate with Central Students team to ensure churchwide vision and values align at the campus level
    • Strategize with Next Gen Pastor to meet ministry goals for the campus
    • Cultivate and protect the culture of the Students Ministry
    • Connect with and care for Student attendees to further spiritual and personal development
    • Promote communication to students, parents, and leaders about the Students Ministry
    • Seek out attendees and guests to create an authentic community of Students at the campus
    • Identify, develop, and empower Student Team leaders (i.e. small groups, Dream Team, outreach, etc.)
    • Oversee and grow campus Student small groups, including identifying spiritually healthy, mature leaders
    • Maintain a healthy Students Dream Team community
    • Organize and lead ACU, internship, or practicum students when at the campus
    • Visible presence and involvement at campus services, gatherings, outreach activities, and experiences
    • Participate in social media promotion of campus activities

    Coordination

    • Coordinate and participate in all Student Ministry activities at the campus
    • Coordinate with Central Students Team to plan WAVE Night Transportation
    • Manage people workflows to ensure Students are connected with team leads, information on next steps to connect with Christ, Church, or their Call (i.e. baptism, Dream Team, Connection Point, small groups, etc.)
    • Provide regular campus Students status updates to Campus Pastor and Next Gen Pastor
    • Actively provide reports for: attendance, dream team, onboarding, budget/actuals, school engagement
    • Collaborate with Care Team to provide pastoral care support to Students and their families
    • Participate in the summer internship program, as requested
    • Participate in WAVE Student Conference, as requested
    • Assist with the execution of student mission trips, as requested

    Financial

    • Coordinate with Campus Pastor and Students Team to develop and maintain applicable budget
    • Utilize purchasing processes for approval, ordering, and payment of services and items needed at campus
    • Assist with budget updates, ensuring resources are being stewarded wisely in your area(s) of responsibility
    • Enter expenses into applicable systems and maintain up-to-date expense reports

    Education & Experience

    • Minimum 2 years of ministry experience
    • Prior experience serving on or leading in Students ministry strongly preferred

    Work Environment & Physical Demands

    • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
    • Must be able to move about inside the office and around the Church facility.
    • Must be able to position self to maintain supplies and equipment on lower shelves and in closets.
    • Frequently move supplies and equipment weighing up to 30 pounds
    • Constantly work in an open office environment
    • Ability to work outside in various climates and temperatures
