The Assistant Dean of Students and Director of Residence Life acts as a primary administrator of the residence life program and is a key provider of general Student Affairs support. In this live off position, the Assistant Dean of Students and Director of Residence Life is responsible for developing and implementing a rich and positive Residence experience. Reporting to the Associate Vice President for Student Affairs / Dean of Students, this position oversees Resident Assistants at all levels, Residence programming and functions, the creation of Residence Hall Association, and assists with housing operations, retention initiatives, and student conduct.
This position is a live-off campus, 12-month position. This is a full-time position and serves on the student affairs on-call rotation. This position is eligible for full college benefits.
The ideal candidate will exercise a high level of discretion and judgment in the day-to-day operation, embraces and promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion, and possesses strong problem-solving skills.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree is required (Education, Counseling, or Social Work preferred); Masters preferred. Experience in student services or Residence life in higher education preferred.
Compensation:
Salary based on qualifications.
